TGIF

Hello everyone! I hope everyone's week has been good. We're in for an icy weekend. They are saying that we could have about 2 to 3 inches this weekend :( If it was snow I would be okay, but I don't like the ice. So far leave hasn't been that bad, of course I've been busy with paperwork from the school...my boss has been bringing it by of a morning and picking it up of an afternoon, but that will finish up next week.

We had to take K back to the hematologist yesterday for a check up for her anemia, its still showing that she is severely anemic, they've got it up to 11.3, but they say it needs to be between 13-15. They increased her iron yet again, she now takes it 4 times a day instead of 3 times a day and they upped the amount. We go back in three months to have another check up. If its still low we may have to do a spinal tap to make sure her body is using the iron correctly. I really don't want that. They are now thinking she might have prenious(sp???) anemia, which will require her to take B12 shots in order for her body to correctly produce and use the iron.
